Week 0: Client for experiment 1

IMAGE 1: Personal piece of creative work

This image is a photo-montage of my final submission for Arch1142 in 2011. The building in the back was created in 2 pieces of white cardboard. It is well “sitting down” on the original landscape context. Another interesting point of this image is that I have turned the image from day to night. The effect of the snowflakes looks helps to illustrate the viewers.

IMAGE 2: Great piece of architecture work

This is a photograph of 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art which is designed by Japanese architect SANNA. Unlike other traditional museum, the building is constructed in circular form which has multiple entrances to welcome the public from different directions. Moreover, the entire glass facade under light effect which also create an interesting illusion of “floating plate” in the air.

IMAGE 3: One piece of something beautiful

This is a photograph of Hai Wan Bridge in Zhanjiang, China. I took this photograph during the Spring Festival 2012. It is traditional that Chinese people celebrate the Spring Festival with firework. Nowadays, light effect and firework are commonly applied to give the views more strong visual effect.  In this image, the light makes the entire bridge just look like a beautiful firework which is blooming above the Zhanjiang harbour.
